Poems Inspired by Process Philosophy
have given me a new path
filled with adventure and happiness.
On this path, I daily discover
new ways of seeing and feeling
beauty, goodness, and tenderness.
Whether I am walking a snowy trail
seeing Ptarmigan wings sweeping snow
from spruce branches
Or sitting on my deck contemplating
with snow capped mountain peaks
in the background
Watching black-capped chickadees,
red-breasted nuthatches,
and acrobatic redpolls
coming to the table
spread with a sacramental offering
of sunflower seed hearts
I find a deep seated happiness
the secret union of zest and peace—
A harmony of harmonies!
