Rena Mortenson loves to write poetry and lives with her husband Mike, and both are high functioning autists. They have been married for over 40 years and now live in northern Minnesota on 40 acres of wonderful, lush green forest. They spend the lion’s share of their time rescuing and caring for cats and dogs from abused situations and giving them safe and caring homes.
