A book of Scriptural insights from the unique perspective of someone born of American missionary parents in Japan, who has himself been an independent, self-supporting missionary in Japan for over 30 years. The focus is on what God says through His Word and how that applies to real, practical living. Passages cover a wide range of topics, but came from readings chosen around the theme of Love.  It is a reference for dealing with many of the issues of life. It is the author’s prayer that as they read this book, others will be encouraged and challenged in their own walk with the Lord.

Born in 1948 in Fukuoka, Japan, Jack Garrott has lived most of his life in Japan. He and his wife, Cathy, have two daughters. A graduate of Carson-Newman College and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in the United States, he is the pastor of Shinsei no Sato Christian Church in Omura, Nagasaki, Japan.
